phantom
Taking an old CC-130E and combined it with a C-130J to make a CC-130J in 1/48........Yes 1/48. Its freaking HUGE! Canmilair decals finished it off. How big is this? Here it is with a 1/48 Hornet... Edited July 31, 2015 by phantom
phantom
Pro-Modeller B-25 J modified into a CF-100 radar trainer from the late 1950's. Remove all the guns cover the turret hole add a blister from a Sea King and source spare decals. Was a very quick build.
ALF18
Can't let the Phantom have all the fun! Here is my Airfix 1/72 Lancaster, 617 Squadron Dam Busters special edition. It came boxed with a 1/48 Tornado from the modern era of 617; I will do that kit some other day. This entire build is OOB. I went with the "S" letter rather than the more famous "G" because I like the white nose art. ALF
phantom
Another Mitchell. Pro Modeller, Decals all from the spare bin. For a "VIP" RCAF B-25.
phantom
This one does not count. Remember how I said I was repainting an old one? Here it is..... Its a target tug from CFB Trenton in the early mid 50s.
phantom
Kurt, you have to get on these people to finish some more models. EVERYone of them is done by a Canadian, and most of them are mine!!! Right, I think this might be the last one. No where near as big as the 1/48 Herc, its a 1/72 Hasegawa Aurora with Canuck decals to do a 405 squadron machine back when they were fresh from the factory.
AX 365
Revell of Germany's 1/72 Lancaster B.III of 100 Squadron R.A.F., April 1945.

ALF18
Wow. After such stellar work by the Phantom and Mike (AX_365), it's almost embarrassing posting this one. It caused me to lose my modelling mojo for several weeks, and the reason I finally finished it is that I wanted to get it out of my office and get back to work on a more reasonably-sized aircraft! This is the Monogram B-29 in 1/48. A huge kit. Built OOB, kit decals, with a home-made stand at the back to prevent it from tail-sitting. Sprayed with Canadian Tire rattle can chrome paint, in keeping with the (so far) all-Canadian participation in the finished builds thread. Fitting, after the Jays just won their ALDS! Trojan Thunder
Hasegawa 1/72 NP-3D EATS VX-30 Bloodhounds
Pete
Here's my 1/72 Italeri B-58 Hustler. OOB build, in 305th BW markings. Used Alclad and ModelMaster Metallizers mostly. This kit has some issues, but overall it still looks nice.
jester292
Great builds everyone. Af, how did you find the fit of the clear parts in the Monogram Superfort? I'm tackling that kit soon in the same markings. Which decals did you use?
jfmajor60
Here is my completed build, not a bad kit overall had a few fit issues but I was able to overcome them, thanks for looking. Edited January 1, 2016 by jfmajor60

Kurt H.
I got my backdrop and some little lights. I can not find my tripod but I did manage 1 beauty shot. If I can find my tripod I can probably get the whole plane in focus.
Trojan Thunder
Looks great Kurt. The Luftwaffe should have stayed with scheme.
