These aircraft were seldom photographed. I have a friend who flew in the 11th GS Aviation Company of the 1st Cav. The RR Company was the 371st and had the Left Bank equipment which you see installed on the 11th Avn Huey. The white symbol you see on the door is the company identifier. The man standing next to the door is my friend Carlos. He gifted me the yellow patch you see sewn on his nomex shirt. There were two other Left Bank units in Vietnam, one with 4th Infantry (374th RRC) and one later with the 101st Airborne (265th RRC).

Left Bank Aircraft

At some point in the early 1970s JUH-1H, 70-15869, a Left Bank configured aircraft, was assigned to the General Support Platoon of the 229th AHB and operated out of Bien Hoa. This aircraft was ultimately involved in an accident that resulted in a dynamic rollover onto its right side.

If my research reveals more on this subject I will pass it along.
