Aigore
There ya go :D The pit parts are done....washed drybrushed and detail painted. Might as well put the parts where they should be and close the fuselage :D There...figure painting next :D Cheers!
Joel_W
Janne, Since the day I met you here on ARC, you've been a master at washes and dry brushing cockpits. Well done. Joel

Aigore
Time for the chaps in the seats... Really crisp looking guys....if compared with FM´s figures they look more like scanned and printed rather than moulded. First some orange... Then some detailpainting... Next a gloss coat and then decals and a wash.....mebbe some drybrushng too :D Cheers!
nicholassagan
looking good!!!

Joel_W
Janne, I've never done a figure, so I'm kind of interested in your technique and of course the final results. So far they both look rather good. Joel

So far they both look rather good. Joel Thanx Joel :D Welllll....I'm no figure painter either so my approach to the pilots are about the same as to the cockpit. I paint them up and then gloss coat them before decals and weathering...let's see how far that gets me :P
Aigore
Okie....the stick monkeys are done :D A gloss coat and decals.... Next an oil wash...rather thin. A careful wipe down with a cotton cloth and then a drybrush with very light grey and apinted the visirs with tamya clear yellow, I call that a wrap :D Let´s put them in their places :D Now with the pit finished it´s time to start on the fuselage....and chipping! Cheers!
Joel_W
Janne, for someone with no experience, I'd say that they came out really quite well. Joel
