DonSS3
The forum won't let me edit my previous post (keeps giving me a 500 error code) so... There are more pics here of the same aircraft if anyone is interested: http://s20.photobucket.com/user/DDonSS3/library/T-38%20Talon

mrvark
Actually, that's not an aggressor. It's a lead-in fighter training (LIFT) jet. It's what guys do between pilot training and going to their actual fighter assignment to get some basic fighter pilot skills in an inexpensive aircraft and one they're familiar with. T-38s did fly as aggressors, but with completely different markings.
Gene K
Actually, that's not an aggressor. It's a lead-in fighter training (LIFT) jet. It's what guys do between pilot training and going to their actual fighter assignment to get some basic fighter pilot skills in an inexpensive aircraft and one they're familiar with. T-38s did fly as aggressors, but with completely different markings. They were also used (are used?) to "re-acclimate" pilots to the flying environment after they were out of the cockpit for a number of years. Going to Holloman for a week of re-orienting by flying an airplane you haven't seen for a decade+ is an eye opener, for sure ... even though it's a wonderfully simple airplane. Murph
Actually, that's not an aggressor. It's a lead-in fighter training (LIFT) jet. Now called IFF (Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals) and dispersed amongst several bases. Unless they've decided to consolidate it one base yet again in the time honored tradition of reinventing the wheel. Regards, Murph
DET1460
I have 2 of the NASA editions of this kit and they have the AT-38B parts. A centerline pod with attached pylon, a very nice centerline weapons pylon and the fairing under the rudder. That said, this will be great with the Holloman markings and semi-aggressor markings and camou. These Wolfpack Talons get better and better... DET1460
Jennings
Now if ONLY someone would do proper wheels for it... ANYONE!?!?
j-basset
Jennings, There is a drawing of a new sprue for the AT-38B kit on Wolfpack Design's webpage. It includes a pair of newly tooled main wheels amongst other parts.
