Aaronw
I saw this in the clearance rack at Michaels and just had to have it, being marked down to $11 just made it better. I love the cool action box art. Opened it up and found we share a birth year, 1967. Actually doesn't look bad for a kit pushing 50 years old, not a lot of parts but actually decent detail. The figures are not too bad either, a couple of crewmen and several frogmen (as advertised on the box lid ). I think this I can actually get finished over the next couple of months, I've had a terrible time finishing anything lately.
rightwinger26
This should build up into a nice little kit. Revell kits are always a joy to build in my opinion.
john53
Should be interesting. How are you making the water? I would be interested in seeing that done, always wanted to do a waterline ship. Looks like an interesting and different build.---John
Aaronw
I would love to do a diorama but I've never done open water, that might be getting over my head. This kit is certainly asking for a diorama though...

Too bad you can't buy water like the one that Trumpeter gave me in the 1/700 USS Lexington CV-2 kit.---John
rightwinger26
Maybe a solid block of clear resin with the swimmers suspended?
