hawkwrench
I was watching an episode of Emergency! (my favorite show by the way) and one rescue that Johnny and Roy went on was a boat crash in which they boarded a Coast Guard HH-52 Seaguard helo and flew out to the scene. For kicks and giggles, It got me wondering. Can you take a Hasegawa Sea King and modify it to look like the HH-52? Tim
SpiritZeroThree
Quite a bit of work to to go from an SH-3 to an HH-52, but here's a guy that did it in 1/32 http://designer.home.xs4all.nl/models/s62-32/s62-1.htm
hawkwrench
That's a pretty cool article. So with ALOT of scratchbuilding, it can be done. Thanks Spirit! Tim
Jennings
That took some cojones! You'd probably be as well off scratch building it, honestly. There are virtually no parts in common between a Sea King and a Shimmering Sh** House. Strong family resemblance, but that's about it. Why, oh WHY won't Sword or MPM do us one of these babies!? JOHN
I have created a CAD drawing of the HH-52A for an R/C flying model I am working on. If they will help I will send you some pdf copies. They were created from drawings supplied from various sources and photos. John
