Thadeus
I'm not the biggest fan of the recce Phantom. I much prefer short nosed Navy/Marines birds. But a Phantom with a Sharkmouth is simply irresistible :) I really like this Revell kit, it has very nice surface details, significantly sharper than Hasegawa. I'll use some leftover Print Scale Decals (first from the top on the instruction, second option from the top on the sheet) If this jet indeed has the towel rack antenna it will be awesome. A quick search unfortunatly didn't yield any results. Cheers!
ikar
WHat are the differences between the "C" and "E" models? It can't be much externally. A towel rack antenna should be fairly simple to build, a few simple verticle antennas and a horizontal piece of sprue that goes across them all.
Thadeus
From what I gather, the RF-4C had the Navy style pylons, some bumps on the tail could be different too. The biggest difference are short burner cans fitted to the C. I have some Fujimi leftovers, they fit better than Hasegawa. I'll take the towel rack antenna from Hasegawa F-4C I'm building. Also, I believe RF-4C's didn't have the slatted tailplanes, which is good, as Revell gives You only unslatted :) Unfortunatly, I've no luck finding pics of that particular Phantom I want to depict.
