flyingdragons75
Love this kit, lots of option when dealing with resin and photoetch parts Had to remove molded interior parts for resin upgrade Resin parts had to be removed if you wanted to use photoetch parts instead ( I don't want to paint tiny consoles)

RKic
It is interesting to see all the neat extra bits you get in the Encore box. Your details in the cockpit look beautiful. Blows the Monogram parts out of the water. That said, the original kit is pretty solid.

Old Monogram kit supplied a pretty accurate VNAF decals but they are kinda thick so instead I chose to make stencil out of them ( the stylized stars) and airbrushed over. And here my older Monogram kits built: They represent 4 different squadrons
RKic
Wow! Beautiful! Can you share any tips on how best to tackle the interior canopy framing parts? The bottom frame piece doesn't really sit flush with the clear parts on mine.

RKic
cool looking loadout! Thanks for the tip on the frame. Do you use CA for the job?
flyingdragons75
cool looking loadout! Thanks for the tip on the frame. Do you use CA for the job? Yes, I use CA for most of the build. The build was almost finished when I noticed that the wingtip tanks pointed upward a little too high so I had to saw them off. After leveling them carefully, I puttied and filed and rescribed ...et voila!
