It is interesting to see all the neat extra bits you get in the Encore box. Your details in the cockpit look beautiful. Blows the Monogram parts out of the water.

That said, the original kit is pretty solid.

Yeah, I like the Encore kit so much I bought 4! And they will be all in VNAF colors.

Old Monogram kit supplied a pretty accurate VNAF decals but they are kinda thick so instead I chose to make stencil out of them ( the stylized stars) and airbrushed over.

Wow! Beautiful!

Can you share any tips on how best to tackle the interior canopy framing parts? The bottom frame piece doesn't really sit flush with the clear parts on mine.

Thanks for the tip on the frame. Do you use CA for the job?

Yes, I use CA for most of the build.

The build was almost finished when I noticed that the wingtip tanks pointed upward a little too high so I had to saw them off. After leveling them carefully, I puttied and filed and rescribed ...et voila!
