galfa
Again and again, engaging in some serious accuracy debate regarding a new kit is difficult. Let me thanks Berkut for his post.
Berkut
Keep buying the Academy one then ;)/>/> By the way, Su-27UB =/= J-11B. I am sure you can tell the differences. It is likely that J-11B will turn out pretty good on the accuracy front. Especially good if they adjust the LERX, LG and the nose. Even without those adjustments, it will be a worthy replacement of the Acad kit. Happy? :)
Flankerman
;) That being said, it is likely that J-11B will turn out pretty good on the accuracy front. Especially good if they adjust the LERX, LG and the nose. Even without those adjustments, it will be a worthy replacement of the Acad kit. Happy? :) The Hobby Boss Su-27UB test shots show that the MLG bays are angled - which is incorrect. The J-11B will be the same I suspect - because all Flanker kits utilise the same lower fuselage moulding. At least all Trumpeter's Flankers did - as did the old Airfix/Heller kits - the only exceptions are the Flankers with canards (J-15/Su-33/Su-30MKI) where a new fuselage moulding is needed. As Berkut says though - it looks like being a worthy replacement for the old (also inaccurate) Academy/Eduard kits. Ken
