Wolfpack T-38A Talon - Blackbird chase plane

Recommended Posts

Great job on your Talon. Those are some of the coolest markings ever put on a T-38. By the way, have you built the Trumpeteer T-38 in the same scale? I have the Trumpy kit, and have heard that the Wolfpack kit is a much better kit. And you say???

I appreciate your comments. As speaking of Trumpeter I also heard that Wolfpack is better so I got two Wolfpack kits. Now I am waiting for C model that is about to be released this month.

Very nicely done. For such a simple kit, it's surprisingly fiddly to get the fit of everything right. I really disliked how they unnecessarily complicated the fuselage - without any extra benefit. Your paint work really turned out well :)

I would recommend adding details to the exhaust area. The area just forward of the nozzles could have used riveting.

But nice work, you made the most out of the stock kit.

I agree. But these would have to be rised rivets and I'm affraid I am too lazy.

Hi Dan. What paint did you use for the white? The application looks flawless. And the subtle panel wash is perfect. One of, if not the best, Talon I've ever seen.

I used canned Tamiya gloss white.
