Don
Good stuff . Its been a while since I have seen that so it was nice to put on in the background while working on my Ticonderoga. The book "The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors" is a MUST read for anyone interested in this subject. The Yamato and her sister Musashi are on my list of "to build". Thanks for posting! Happy modeling! Regards, Don.
SBARC
Thanks for posting! Happy modeling! Regards, Don. My pleasure Don....it's an old video...but one of my favorites for the Taffy 3 story. I picked up the Trumpeter 1/350 USS Franklin "Big Ben" kit on my recent trip to the Philippines(US$125)....the USN history in the Philippinesduring WW2 is quite remarkable....I'm interested in building some USN ships from the epic battles in the PTO. IrishGreek
Another great book on this is "For Crew and Country" about the Rueben James (sp?). Really touching and good interviews reflected in the story.
