Will Trumpeter revisit the thought of a Nanchang Q-5/A-5 Fantan?

Recommended Posts

To be honest i have yet to heard that anyone has received a reply back from Trumpeter/HB on any matter. They are famously impossible to get replacement parts from directly and i never got any reply back from them when i have contacted them either.

Their American distributor, Stevens International, rarely answers requests either. I've sent them an email before, no answer. Other people have had more luck, but they say the responses are often rude.

I've only ever emailed them once for a request/suggestion and while not rude the answer wasn't positive. I just figured it's a good idea to at least ask and hopefully plant the seed of inspiration :thumbsup:/>

That resin kit looks nice - I'm not sure about everyone else but that first picture almost looks like a thin-nosed Buccaneer to me!

I am puzzled how Trumpeter team never produced A-5C Q-5 Fantan in any scale.

Even a conversion kit from MiG-19 would have been a great idea. How could they miss this exotic fighter/bomber?

AA models made a crude 1/48 in the 90's and they are all gone.

Wake up Trumpeter!
