That looks really cool, the Viking looks real shot outside. I especially like the CBU loadout for the cat, you don't see that very often, I like it a lot !!

Finally, back up and running. The replacement windscreen is on and the new pitot tube from Master is here as well. I sprayed the interior black on the canopy today and plan on finishing the primer coat tomorrow. Then its on to the pre-shading and main colors.

Started weathering, then the nozzle on my airbrush sheared off, yet again bringing this build to a grinding halt. Ever have a build that just appears cursed? I'm boxing it up now to send off to the fine folks at Paasche. Hopefully it gets back soon enough to finish this by Early September for a contest.

Ok, I'm back home and Paasche sent my replacement airbrush and I purchased another one (single action). I have painted a few colors on and its starting to look like something.

Hey falcon20driver, This may be off topic, or but what color is the blue that you over-painted the canopies of your Hasegawa

egg-models in the background? Thanks,

Tim

The wife is busy all day tomorrow, so I'm really hoping to get most everything wrapped up throughout the day. As I near the finishing line on this one I would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped out. Quite a few members sent parts and decals that were desperately needed at no charge, and that really means a lot. Also, to everyone who provided encouragement I truly appreciate that. There were many times I wanted to walk away but you guys provided the needed inspiration.

Hey Tim, I use Sky Blue for canopies. I just pour it inside the canopy, swish it around till I have full coverage, then pour it back out.

Thanks muchly!!! I saw your completed build. Outstanding work!!!
