tobiK
Welcome, phantom! As expected, you are the first to post here. Even a broken compressor can not slow you down, urghh ... But again a very nice F-4 that you see not so often in that livery. Well done!!
Brutus
Here's my finished build. Pictures taken using a Panasonic Lumix TZ7. Hasegawa 1/48 RF-4E Phantom II 'Hellenic Air Force Special' Thanks for looking.
scotthldr
Outstanding RF, one of the best in that scheme that I've seen. The Yellow down the fuselage side looks like it's painted on or is it decal, and excellent work on the bare metal areas around the exhaust tail plane area :thumbsup:/> Edited March 18, 2016 by scotthldr
Grandboof
Top finish Top build . Martin H
Brutus
Outstanding RF, one of the best in that scheme that I've seen. The Yellow down the fuselage side looks like it's painted on or is it decal, and excellent work on the bare metal areas around the exhaust tail plane area :thumbsup:/>/> Thanks Scott .. The yellow on the fuselage it's decal, took lots of water to move it around and it did break in between on the starboard side but I managed to close the gap. Couple of passes Mr.Mark Softer to get that painted look. Tried using micro sol on a few other decals but it wasn't strong enough somehow.
phantom
Here is another of that same build. I did not have the paint guide or the wing markings so I used the German standard scheme and made some roundels out of other countries markings. Neat what a little paint can do. tobiK
Gorgeous presentation of your F-1! You made a real good looking model out of that old ESCI kit! congrats!
tobiK
So here is my contribution to greek meet: the old n venerable Mongogram kit of the F-84F, released by Revell in grey plastik a few years ago. It is not a show stopper but I am quite pleased with the outcome of the old kit (including raised panel lines) adding only decals from Icarus and Italeri, 2 LAU rocket launchers from the Hasegawa weapons set. But should I do it again I would prefer the Italeri/Kinetic boxing or maybe the HobbyBoss kit (even that is still no perfekt Thunderstreak). Now I could get some real nice shots from the F-84. So I updated the old bad pics here. Edited July 9, 2016 by tobiK Better pics now!
Sabre Fan
here still a few photos of the F-84. the US bird also that is revell model oob. the decals from us bird are from microscale 48-769 ( F84E 527 th FBS/82nd FBG) with a mix from the revell decals greet from bavaria Sabre Fan

tobiK
Today SabreFan came over and we had a foto shooting in my garden. I already changed the old crappy pics a few posts before of the single F-84F. But furthermore we made some pics of both HAF F-84 together: the G and the F version, one in NMF and the other in TAC colors. I hope you enjoy.
