Jennings
No, just a boat from China. It's a big ocean, and the kits are made in China.

Eric B.
Great news I'm veeery tempted... Be not tempted... Wether you love the F-106 or not, if you love 1/72nd scale modeling just get yourself one. I saw the parts in Telford, I sure don't know how it builds but this is (one of?) the finest 1/72nd scale model engineering I ever saw. Mine were on pre-order (2 kits), I feared the long délaying of say both the 1/72nd scale Wolfpack-D T-2C Buckeye or Platz Mistubishi T-2/F-1 (also extremelly beutiful kits by the way) but this time model seems to be on time.. Great effort by Meng. Regards Eric B. Edited January 10, 2016 by Eric B.
ChippyWho
Life is EXCELLENT!!! Pre-ordered the beast (with the 2 resin sets) from Lucky Model a while back -now, as Mr Tom Petty has informed me, The Waiting Is The Hardest Part...
Murph
Right now ebay prices all seem to be consistently at $40.00 US plus or minus a dollar and change. $25.00 for the kit and $15.00 for international shipping. Regards, Murph
Jennings
It'll come down once the initial flush is past.
steveski
23USD minus shipping at the Chinese "Bay", ask someone you know in the far east to get yours there.
thegoodsgt
I'll wait till Sprue Brothers gets it. No rush.

bjc2278304
More sprue shots as well as photos of the resin sets and marking options. http://www.moxdao.com/thread-11296-1-1.html
Murph
More sprue shots as well as photos of the resin sets and marking options. http://www.moxdao.com/thread-11296-1-1.html I like the resin, but one nit-noi is they screwed up on the seat. They include the parachute pack but not the harness (shoulder, chest, and leg straps) for it. They also have an extra set of straps in there that didn't exist, (the ones running up to the outside of headrest); those are actually the shoulder harness straps, which they've already provided in a draped position. I would have rather seen them do the seat without the chute, which would have saved them all of that trouble; although, given how often the Six sat alert the parachute left in the seat was common. In any event, it looks like a spectacular kit, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. EDIT for P.S. Extremely cool that they include the Rube Goldberg supersonic ejection seat too. Jennings
Does anyone actually have the kit in hand yet?? If so, could you shoot me an email? I'd like to ask a small favor.. Tks! jrheilig01 at gmail dot com
nfiler
Jennings, I doubt if anybody actually has one yet. I and my modeling buddy placed advanced orders with three different far eastern hobby shops. I have received a shipping notice from only one of them and the other two still show as a future release. The shipping notice said it was shipped on Friday, the 15th. Might see it late this week or early next week. Norm
Jennings
Mine is at the USPS facility in Islip, NY. Someone on Facebook posted that he had one, but he won't reply to my msg.
UKPonchoMan
Mine arrived this morning... Absolutely beautiful! The F-102 was good but this is to another level - gets my vote as "kit of 2016" :)
bjc2278304
I know this kit has just been released but are there any build photos, shots of the instruction sheets or by chance shots of the completed model?
Jennings
The only photos I've seen posted are of the sprues. Somewhere I saw an assembled test shot, but it didn't have any paint or anything.
bjc2278304
Yes, I remember seeing those somewhere too but can't find them now.there's not much mention of the kit on Meng website or on facebook. When their f-102 came out there were lots of nice photos of built test examples in various schemes.
Jennings
I can't find *anything* about it on Meng's FB page!
