Hajo L.
I´m in need of a good online source for pictures of the F-21A Lion. I have the Hasegawa-Combo and would like to have some more resources for the build. HAJO

X-Plane Fan
Are you looking for something specific?
Hajo L.
Thanks a lot! I´m planning to paint the two birds the same as on their boxart. One in triple grey, one in something that looks like a desert lizzard scheme. HAJO
soulfreak
Maybe this helps:
EagleAviation
Fantastic jet! I really would like to build one of those!
tobiK
@ Hajo: something wrong with your inbox? Can not send you a msg... For the 1/48 guys: the wingman F-21A Kfir is the full meal deal! Having many decal options!
Hajo L.
Uops? DOn´t know, I think my inbox should be working. Or try e-mail: hajo dot lippke at burgkoppel.de Thank you for the input so far! I stumbled across a nice picture of a 1:48 F-21A with two relatively big underwing fuel tanks. Any idea if the ones that come with the Hasegawa-kit are too narrow in size? This is the picture I´m talking about: http://s1371.photobucket.com/user/ARTI-72/media/F-21%20Lion/F-21Lion035_zpsb2070b30.jpg.html HAJO
tobiK
For an adversary aircraft I think the big 3 tanks were not used. Better add an ACMI pod, inert Sidewinder and only a supersonic centerline tank. It could happen that for a ferry flight a Kfir had 2 gas bags. But I doubt that such a configuration was real like we can see on pics of your link.
soulfreak
I would suggest you also to make it with a centerline tank, both outer wing stations and one mounted with a ACMI pod.
Hajo L.
I was planning to do one in A2A-configuration (center-line tank, ACMI-pod and inert AIM-9) an the other one in a ferry-flight-configuration. HAJO

hawkwrench
I've never heard of an F-21. Who makes it and what is it used for? Agg/Adv only??? Tim
camus27
They were Israeli Kfirs, leased in 1986 until the F-16N could be produced. They were used by two Navy squadrons and one Marine unit, adversary only.
iaf-man
They are still being used by civil contractors for target towing and DACT training http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/isaac_gershman/f-21a_03/ http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/isaac_gershman/f-21a_06/ http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/isaac_gershman/f-21a_11/ Isaac
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
Happened to see a couple of the DACT birds taking off at Albuquerque International several years back. BOY was that impressive! Always a thrill to hear the roar of a J-79 in reheat.
