Laurent
Source: http://www.primeportal.net/models/nuremberg_2016.htm Is it a new tool ? If so does someone have some insight about accuracy ?
ijozic
While I'm no expert on the plane, the sides of the spine do look weird on the model; like they have a step of sorts before the top surface of the spine. Edited January 28, 2016 by ijozic
Mizar
I don't know just judging from their other announced releases like Ka-27,Hip and Hind they all seem to be Hobbyboss reboxes
Laurent
I don't know just judging from their other announced releases like Ka-27,Hip and Hind they all seem to be Hobbyboss reboxes Trumpyboss have never been reboxed AFAIK. No cooperation possible with them, their goal is to flood the market IMHO. If the T50 is a rebox of anyhting, it would be Zvezda. I hope it isn't so that's why I'm asking. ijozic
Both Zvezda and Hobby Boss spines look different from what's been shown here, especially Zvezda whose spine is painfully off the mark IMHO (HB blends in more softly and thus definitely feels closer to the real thing). Since the HB kit is somewhat overscaled, a new kit is definitely welcome, but that spine is a turn off. Personally, I'm waiting for an injection molded one in 1/48 scale :) Edited January 28, 2016 by ijozic
Mizar
I've checked once again the pics on primeportal and then pics of built models Their Hind is the Hobbyboss kit,Zvezda detail is different Their Ka-29 or Ka-27 is from Hobbyboss too Their Ka-50 too cause nose looks too fat Their Hip idem cause Zvezda windshield is wrong while Hobbyboss got it right T-50 is Hobbyboss surface detail of Zvezda is once again different So or they copied/used HB as masters for their resin addons and still have to show the real tooling or I don't know what to say Edited January 28, 2016 by Mizar

Berkut
Announced long time ago - it is a HB rebox with a resin seat.
Laurent
Announced long time ago - it is a HB rebox with a resin seat. Oh crap. Surprised that HB sells sprues.
ijozic
Announced long time ago - it is a HB rebox with a resin seat. Must be some shadow play then which emphasizes this step on the spine on the photos in the original post. For instance, it is not visible here on the HB kit: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/img_765568_1351626339_SK3.jpg.html But, it starts to show under this angle: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/img_765568_1351626317_SK2.jpg.html
