S-3B Viking 1:48 Italeri

Recommended Posts

Hi again.I present my interpretation of the aircraft S-3B Viking made by the model Italeri, set for receipt of Paragon Design wings, cockpit Pavla, and Eduard exterrior. Gaps electronics made from scratch. Improved horizontal stabilizers to pose a standstill. Improved lighting. Lights to fly in formation painted with fluorescent paint

"You preflight the outside....I'll take the tube and start the APU." I would tell that to my pilot each time I flew the Viking...and yours looks like the real deal.

Great job. You "nailed" the TPS scheme.

Cheers

Very nice build and the weathering is subtle but convincing. It looks like you didn't apply a panel line wash which is probably a smart move in this case as the panel lines seem a little big for 48th scale. Great job though, like it a lot.
