Thar ain't no sech animal as an ol' bomb, just some not used for a long time....if they fall and go boom...they're just as good as those with fresh paint on'em. :D

There are a lot of photos showing aircraft in Vietnam using vintage bombs. Why? Because they worked. I well remember blowing two 16" rounds from the New Jersey in August or September 1968. You could still read the logo on them, and they appeared to be 1944 manufacture. I shot 155 rounds made in the late 1940's, and much from the Korean War era. You use what you got.
