We are a temperate country, not given to extremes of weather that would require different uniforms. Royal Marines would use white overclothes when deployed to Norway, but that was about it. (BTW, there's no such thing as "Royal Army", it's just the British Army, no "Royal" in the name, although certain regiments retain the "Royal" moniker.) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
