nspreitler
This was my first completion of 2016, an Eduard P-39 in Soviet markings.
nspreitler
One of my favorites, the Hs-123. It seemed obsolete by the time the war started, but was in great demand. It served until 1944, so at the same time as Luftwaffe was introducing jet fighters it was still using a biplane as one of its most effective ground attack aircraft. Don
Probably not inspirational, but here is a 1/35 Tamiya T-34/76 that I built about a year or so ago for another group build: It depicts a dusty T-34 roving through late summer grass on the Russian steppes. Jay Chladek
I see your Edward Aleksandr Pokryshkin P-39N and I raise you a Hasegawa Grigori Rechkalov P-39Q (built for another Eastern Front GB many years ago). :D/>/> It was also my first 1/48 P-39 and it was one of the most fun builds I have ever had. Here is a link to the original build thread: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=116735&st=0 Edited April 11, 2016 by Jay Chladek

Jim S
Stumbled across this on another site looking for I-16 pics and thought it was kinda cool. Pretty sure it is an IL-4.
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
Here are some of my 1/72 Soviet GPW birds. First the Eduard 1/72 La-7. Scrounged decals to match the profile on the rear of the Osprey book on Lavochkin Aces. For some reason that's the profile that really "spoke" to me.
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
HobbyBoss 1/72 MiG-3, with completely gutted and rebuilt cockpit, and cowling intakes.
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
RPM 1/72 MiG-3. Not an easy build especially when you totally rebuild the cockpit.
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
A pair of 1/72 Cooperativa La-5's. Nice simple builds. Kit decals (went through 3 sets ) on The Mouth, AML decals on the snowjob.
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
AML 1/72 La-5FN. My first Lavochkin, and it's a VERY difficult build. Worth it in the end, but I don't wanna do that again....
