GretarBill
Hi you all. I've started my Spitfire. Here are a couple of pic's of the boxart, the kits parts and after marked stuff I'm using, from CMK. Cockpit, armament, control surfaces and the engine, + a vac. canopy. I've nerarly compleated the cockpit. I improved the main cockpit part. A pic of the part before and after improvement. Three pic's of the cockpit so far That's it for now. Best regards Grétar W. G. GretarBill
The cockpit's ready. The engine comes where the parts have been cut of at the front on one of the halfs of the fusalage. The parts that make up the engine and its bay. Grétar W. G.

GretarBill
As may been seen in the post above, I was going to do the engine and it's bay next. but I soon found out that it was not possible. It would brake of when handling the model doing all the other work that has to be done. So I started on the wings. Here is a picture of the wings and the part that go in to them. First are the flaps and the ailerons, then the lower part of the wings and then the upper parts of the wings. The right wing has been cut for the extra parts. The guns and the gun bays are below the wings. A close up of the right wing. The plastic has been thined down to make space for the gun bays. But that's not enough. Also need to thin down the cun bays. A large gap is between the wing parts with the gunbays in their place.
nickdanger
Oh man. That will be difficult. Good luck getting that all trimmed and fitted.

AX 365
Aye carumba! All that resin and in 72nd scale to boot! You're very adventurous. It looks like it's going to require a significant amount of finesse to gets things to fit properly. Good luck as you move forward. Mike

Martin H Aye carumba! All that resin and in 72nd scale to boot! You're very adventurous. It looks like it's going to require a significant amount of finesse to gets things to fit properly. Good luck as you move forward. Mike Thank you all. The right wing is done (the one in the pictures) and the left one is nearly compleated. Just have to thin down the gun bays to make them fit. I also desided to rescribe the model. The first one I've ever rescribed. It came out ok, I think. I'll send photos when the wings are ready. I had planned to spend a lot of time over Easter (five days off work) to work on the model. But I "accidentaly" bought a 1993 Econoline RV 4X4 on 35" tires on Wednesday before Easter and that has taken some time from the modeling. But I plan to compleat the wings this week. A couple of pic's of my RV. Best regards Grétar W. G. :wave:/>
Grandboof
That is like walking into a hobby shop and accidentally increasing the size of the stash. Enjoy Martin H
