Built for ‘Micro Modelling Month’ over at http://www.modelersalliance.com – an annual GB/Campaign to build any model in one of the smaller scales.

As I have four of these kits on the shelf, I thought it was time to build another Hawker Hunter, but this time try and make it a wee bit different using the FAA Models resin (recce) nose conversion and one of Xtradecal’s superb alternative Hunter sheets.

Probably one of the easiest conversions you could ask for. The FAA Models resin nose simply drops in to place in place of the kit part with the absolute minimum of fuss and just a smear of filler. In total this model spent only 12hrs and 45mins on my bench from the moment I opened the box until this afternoon, and I enjoyed every one of those 765 minutes. Not my first RoG Hunter and won’t be my last… One of the best 1:72 kit of recent years ???, IMHO yeah, it is.
