converting parts in 1/72

Hello All, Is it possible to convert say a Hasegawa 1/72 Lantirn pod into a Damocles targeting pod as used on a French Rafale? They seem to be approx. the same size/dimensions. I want to add it to one of my kits. Any Ideas? Also what would be the best color to paint the Rafale, taking into account scale effect?

You would have to modify the air intake drastically.

And the Damocles pod has an increased diameter before the opto-electronic turret.

Worst case, it's avalaible from L'Arsenal (in France).

Is it possible? Anything is possible! You *could* convert a Spitfire into a Damocles pod :)

Might not be easy, but certainly possible!
