Trumpeter 1/72 MiG-29

It's been a while, but I've finally got some time to share my progress. I haven't made as much progress as I would've liked but I think I still have ample time to finish within the group build time frame.

First off, the kit cockpit is bare with details supplied only in decals. I decided to liven things up a little with bits of plastic on the sidewalls and tub.

The instrument panel was finished with the supplied decal and plenty of Mr. Mark Softer.

The wheel bays were next, and I must say, they are very nice!

Then, the intake trunks were fitted. Fit of the parts are fantastic.

This kit is definitely miles ahead of the old Italeri kit. I'm really enjoying the build.

I like the little details you added to the side walls. Things like that go a long way in 72nd!

Trumpeter's detail in the wheel wells is incredible. Leaves the corresponding "detail" on Hasegawa kit that I have, in the dust!

Have you glued top to bottom yet? How was the fit?
