Thanks ! Very impressive but still the pylons on the CAD profile were reported to be too deep if my memory's right.

The known CAD files are quite old (IIRC they were first published years ago when the mysterious Mr Song was working for Trumpeter), the scan was made this year. I'm full of hope!

The prototype pics posted by "Song" (when he was still working at Trumpeter) were old, the CAD profile view wasn't: I'm talking about...

Interesting to see how the aircraft is prepped for the LASER scanning.

As long as it has the recce pod and the ECM pod, I will probably get one.

That's about all I can afford. :dontknow:

Because everything in 1/48 after the Rafale is less accurate and has worse fit.

Hobbyboss ?

I doubt it, since HobbyBooBoo doesn't do that much research.

They just download some iffy drawings and a few photos from the internet.

Just my 2¢.

Wow! It does seem to capture the "brutish" look of the late model fitters

Windscreen: better than the future HobbyBoss one but still off. See side windows. :o

Other details and weapons/equipments (recce KKR and ECM SPS-141 pods!) look really impressive. On my shopping list!

Maybe not, but it is a good question how that passed quality control. Assuming there is any.

Although I'm a stickler for accuracy, there's no such thing as a perfect model.

I hate that argument. It is just white noise. Of course there is no such thing as perfect anything. Doesnt excuse Kitty Hawk from making blatant mistakes, unwillingness to pay attention and general laziness.
