flanker27
so should I start stockpiling sanding sticks?
Rex
dehowie, there is a simpler timeline, already mentioned in this thread. 1. Aircraft modeler that spent 15 years on type points out error in the tails 2. Model manufacturer notices and agrees, and then posts that he is correcting the small error. Edit (post #14, this is #27) 3. long posts get made by people that completely didn't see #2 then 4. the new P-40 kit gets released, etc. 5. a very few modelers just say "thanks" to both the modeler that pointed the tails out, and to the manufacturer that agreed and decided to fix them and 6. Thanks. Edited May 4, 2016 by Rex
Laurent
I like http://data6.primeportal.net/hangar/daryl_nightingale/cf-118_hornet/images/cf-118_hornet_117_of_149.jpg as the picture was taken from a certain height, not from the ground. The camera may be more perpendicular to the fin plane still the camera isn't centered on the subject so there may be distortion.
