I'm just checking to see if anyone in Canada is being affected by the massive wildfires, living in SoCal I'm very aware of how fast, damaging and devastating they can be. I'm hoping and praying for a quick end to them and a fast and full recovery for all affected.

I've flown oil parts up to Ft. McMurray before. It's absolutely beautiful up there and a shame they're having the issues with the fire. Stay safe guys.

I have friends who had to evacuate, no word yet if their home has been damaged in any way but they're safe. Also have a cousin who is a civilian fire fighter and EMT from Cold Lake who is on the front lines fighting the fire. It's a terrible situation but it's really great to see the country coming together to help out.

We've moved a few of our Air Ambulance helicopters up from our Edmonton base.

We normally fly 3-5 missions a day. In the last two days we have flown 40 medevacs.
