my favs are F`s
A few more pics with a testfit. Still plenty of things to do to the bobmb racks and the pylons until i glue all the "attachments".
my favs are F`s
Before the assembly: And after. Now the beast is slightly dangerous for handling... with all the tiny pieces. Hopefully there will be no issues with the mounting of the underwing pylons...
Aigore
It's outstanding! Really like the stretch marks in some of the panels, gives it a great sense if mass :)
A-10 LOADER
She's really coming together now and the "oil canning" effect looks awesome with the paint on. Steve
Falconxlvi
Awesome awesome awesome!!!! I can't wait to see it finished! Steve
my favs are F`s
Thanks guys! Pretty soom i hope - just to glue the pylons. And will make a quick photoshoot as it is like that, shiny and clean. While for the weathering - maybe i leave that for later, cause it will take me some time to enjoy it as it is now, without the weathering. Btw, a short and quite zoomed vid:
Red Dog
It's a bomb truck Milan :) You can't have it unloaded like that for long :) :)
my favs are F`s
2 modes prepared: 1) 2 or 4 AIM 120s + 0 or 2 ext. fuel tanks; 2) 2 Bunker Busters Btw the "fingers" of the bomb holders of all the underfuselage racks had a little change - i made them "droped" down as for emtpy slots. So they will stay like that - emtpy. I so much like the "synchrony" of all these shiny metal "details" on the dark grey backdrop of the plane... :))) Check this out. my favs are F`s
Underwing pylons, CFT exhaust vents and the hook are done. The nozzles are still testfitted but that`s enough to look installed. The end areas of the 2 tails right next to the nozzles need more riveting, the the chaffs dispensers have to be painted, and the fuel drop tanks need a couple of decals. Overall, i plan to take some final photos today! Until then - here are the updates: Edited September 22, 2017 by my favs are F`s
Falconxlvi
Absolutely fantastic! You brought out all of the detail on the weapon racks- very well done! Can't wait to see it done! Steve
my favs are F`s
Steve et all, the beast is ready... at least in a pre-weathered condition, just slightly weathered. I plan to keep it like that way for quite some time, until i feel the will to turn it into something like that: PS... and now i see that i totally forgot to apply the decal with the numbers onto the nose wheel door... :))))
my favs are F`s
Check out the album with the F in a "Parked" Mode. I took quite a lot of pics, posted few dozens with the best ones, and this is just my No.1 favorite pic:
Falconxlvi
I like It! The detail on the missile rail and bomb racks are topnotch 👍🏻 Steve
my favs are F`s
Wharrrrup :) I started the weathering little by little. Here are a few pics after the scratched paint alongside some fastener and rivet lines, panel lines, doors, latches and other areas:
my favs are F`s
The bottom fuselage, the nose area and partially the upper fuselage, are treated with black/grey oil paints. Black pin washes here and there too...
my favs are F`s
And here is the upper side + the nose. I don`t know how exactly light is the weathering, but i watched a SJ bird as a reference pic for the weathering.
