Trumpeter 1/350 USS Texas BB-35

Recommended Posts

A fun, sometimes challenging 7 month build. I did not attempt to correct the issue with the hull blisters. Additional parts used were:

Master Model main gun turned aluminum barrels

North Star resin floater basket inserts

G-Factor screws

Gold Medal fire hoses and life rings

EZ line rigging

Scalemaster insignia decals on the Kingfishers

The rigging is EZ line. I did use some CA and accelerator to attach the ends of most of it. A few were done with Gator's Grip acrylic glue, which I am totally sold on and will never be without from here on. Almost all of the brass etch is attached with the acrylic glue.

Thanks Rick. I ordered EZ and have been using it now for my NJ.

Great work again!
