KursadA
Awesome build - thanks for sharing. Just some background info on the nose art: "Savasan Anka" means "Fighting Phoenix". This particular F-16 suffered extensive damage in a belly landing some years ago. Lockheed-Martin told the Turkish Air Force to write off the airframe, as it was damaged beyond economical repair. TAI decided to repair it anyway; and it has been flying safely for several years now. Hence the moniker Phoenix, since it was reborn from its ashes.

dsahling
Really, really nice work on that kit, nice photos too. Did the vertical stabilizer orange peel on you? I hate when that happens, I spent a ton of time resurrecting an A-4 done as Jester's jet from Top Gun only to get a little orange peel after I used mr color lacquer flat coat over a gloss coat of future. Ufuk AYDINER
jfmajor60; this forward section of tail differs as material than the rest. After several coats, the paint applied begin to crackle, sometimes peels off. Here are few example; Eache example I saw had different type of wears on vertical stabilisers. Here are the pictures of my viper, photo coutesy of Mr. Ă–mer Erkmen
