1/48 Kinetic E-2C Hawkeye

I like it! How'd it go together?

It wasn't too bad, the engine nacelles were the trickiest. I had to liquid sprue then rescribe parts of it. The join of the nacelle and the wing on the left hand side produced a step which had to be filled/sanded out. I removed some panel lines around the cockpit area that I couldn't see on the real thing. The static wicks were replaced with thin copper wire. It's very important to load this model up with as much nose lead as possible. I even packed it in behind the cockpit rear wall and still it's only just not a tail sitter.

Cheers

John
