Just had a look thrugh the first G release at a great retailer here called Miniature hobby.

Must say the panel lines are far finer in person than via photo.

Detail is very sharp indeed.

Definitely looking forward to the H and early G...

In no particular order, some features I'd like to see include:

-open bomb bay with rotary launcher & cluster rack options

- poseable crew entry hatch

- EVS options for both opened & stowed sensors

- Targeting pod pylon for right wing

- poseable flaps & spoilers

- poseable horizontal stabilizer

- stub pylon/HSABs as well as AGM-28 pylon with optional adapter beam/MERs

- antennas & fairings as separate parts with flashed over locator holes or similar arrangement, to allow specific timeframes in a fairly simple/modular manner

- all nav/position/taxi/landing lights molded in clear

- poseable air refueling doors & receptacle

- option to display drag chute door open

All this is obviously on top of exceeding the fit & shape of the AMT tool!

open bomb bay with rotary launcher & cluster rack options

poseable crew entry hatch

poseable flaps & spoilers

those are included, others, we can do one by one in future.

What about the stub pylon w/ HSAB (heavy stores adapter beam)? These are extremely common on the late H.

Nigel. Spot on! Great work on the in box Modelcollect G review and the D-G-H comparison review. I will watch your AMT H Tail Correction this weekend as that is the kit I have in the stash. KCCO. R/ Dutch

Hi Modelcollect.

You say here you have poseable flaps and spoilers. The flaps in the kit are indeed separate, but there is no way of mounting them in their extended position as there are no tracks for them.  The rib detail on the underside of the upper wing is incorrect also. The spoilers on top of the wings are not poseable, in fact they are actually moulded in the wrong position?

I have put up an in box review of the “G” kit and am now uploading a 1 hour video of a 3 kit comparison, Revell ‘D’, AMT ‘H’ and the MC ‘G’.

Look them up on Youtube. My name is “Nigel’s Mustang and Models”

Good review Nigel, thanks.

Great Review Nigel! Thanks so much. I'll probably pull the trigger because of your review. My hope?? A decal company will produce a *comprehensive* set of decals for the AGM- 86's. AMT's decals were ok. But I'd like to see more stencils. The MC offering has no AGM-86 decals that I can see.

I've just found another ommission on the MC kit. Please take note @modelcollect

The tailplanes mount onto a triangular like mounting at the rear end of the fuselage. this enables the whole tailplane to alter it's AOA (Angle of attack) giving the pilot a means of trimming the whole aircrafts AOA. This feature is way overdone on the AMT kit, it's heavily outlined on the Monogram and totally missing on the modelcollect kit.

It looks like every variant from the YB-52 all the way to the B-52H has this feature.

These are from a D model but they should be the same on all models.
