gb_madcat_sl
Saw this on the Modelcollect Facebook page. Anyone have the lowdown on it? Mark Edit: Modelcollect has confirmed that it is a new tool kit. Edited June 27, 2016 by gb_madcat_sl
dehowie
Let the games begin! I'm in...really it could not be worse than the AMT thing..
Gator52
First I've heard of that company, but I look forward to this kit! Jonah
ChippyWho
I assume this is the Modelcollect whose 1/72 modern tank kits are very well regarded. DAMMIT!!! Another (huge) thing I'll never be able to avoid buying, and never be able to start building. Beginning to realise that I might have a teensy-weensie problem...but that is always the First Step! gb_madcat_sl
First I've heard of that company, but I look forward to this kit! Jonah Modelcollect do a range of 1/72 armour models and they are pretty nice kits. Some of them even come with photo etched parts. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/search?typ1_c=102&cat=plamo&target=maker&searchkey=Model+Collect Mark

Absolutely right. Man, I hope they do this right, but I'll bet it is going to cost close to $200 US. Let's see.
Darren Roberts
I hope they do the stressed skin on the forward fuselage. That would be great!
bartkoh
Absolutely right. Man, I hope they do this right, but I'll bet it is going to cost close to $200 US. Let's see. US$99.50 according to their webpage http://www.modelcollect.com/b-52h-us-stratofortress-strategic-bomber

Berkut
US$99.50 according to their webpage http://www.modelcollect.com/b-52h-us-stratofortress-strategic-bomber And that is MSRP. Real price should be about 70-80USD then.
Dave Williams
Time to put those CE conversions on eBay!
Gator52
In no particular order, some features I'd like to see include: -open bomb bay with rotary launcher & cluster rack options - poseable crew entry hatch - EVS options for both opened & stowed sensors - Targeting pod pylon for right wing - poseable flaps & spoilers - poseable horizontal stabilizer - stub pylon/HSABs as well as AGM-28 pylon with optional adapter beam/MERs - antennas & fairings as separate parts with flashed over locator holes or similar arrangement, to allow specific timeframes in a fairly simple/modular manner - all nav/position/taxi/landing lights molded in clear - poseable air refueling doors & receptacle - option to display drag chute door open All this is obviously on top of exceeding the fit & shape of the AMT tool! Kurt H.
This is a welcome surprise. I love huge kits, I am pretty curious to see how this kit looks.

Spruemeister
Time to put those CE conversions on eBay! Ooooh, I may wait a bit yet. It's 50/50 whether it's better or not. Until this is a proven entity, I don't want to get crazy. New stuff doesn't seem to be a lock down guarantee these days. Rick L.
