Alternative 4
It's strange to think that it made it home and now sits in the desert waiting to be flown again.

silverkite211
I talked to someone once who was in one of the camera ships, he had a number of photos that he had taken in a photo album that he showed me. He said one of the biggest reasons the crew decided to stay with the aircraft was that they were over the Rocky Mountains at the time, it was very cold and no one had bothered to bring their cold weather survival gear. Once they found that the B-52 was controllable that also let them decide, the aircraft was essentially pointing towards Little Rock AFB, so that was the destination they chose, very little course correction was needed. yardbird78
She was the first H model to be sent to DM. I read somewhere that she is seriously bent and if so, will probably never fly again.
Slartibartfast
V. nice. I had seen photos but this is the first video footage. Thanks, Scott. A good show of my parents tax dollars at work.
