Kurt H.
Nice job on the paint, nice and glossy, and smooth and still thin enough to look good in that scale.

Mike J. Idacavage
My Eagle now looks like it belongs in the Happy Anniversary GB! I have now finished adding the decals to the model and it looks pretty decent at this stage. Here is my build of the fuselage with the decals added but not the overall final semi-mat clear coat. I also did the vertical fins separately but I realized just now I did not shoot any photos of them. You will see them when they are added to the fuselage! While test fitting my vacuformed front windshield this week, I noticed that it is impossible to fit over the raised resin cockpit part that has the HUD on it. Dang! I thought it had fit earlier but I likely was not very careful in my estimate. I will now need to vacuform another part and have this raised a bit so it can fit. It will be out of scale but hopefully I can blend it in so that it is not very noticeable. Now I know what I'll be doing for this build in the next week as I have to make it and then paint the various colors on the edge. I am glad I have plenty of time for this GB! Have fun modeling! Kurt H.
That sure looks great. Too bad about the canopy, but I Am sure your taller one will look fine.

Mike J. Idacavage
I am getting close to having this build complete. My Eagle is now standing on its legs. In addition, I have done some detail painting and also added the scratchbuilt FOD covers. These really add some more color to the overall blue aircraft. I should have this build wrapped up soon. Have fun modeling! Mike

Spectre711
Very nice job! those shots of it sitting on the paint tin put it much more in perspective. I kept forgetting what scale you were building.
Mike J. Idacavage
Thanks for the great feedback everyone! This was a really enjoyable GB and I am really happy that I was able to contribute. Spectre711, glad you liked the photos of the Eagle on the paint tin. It really is a small model and I posed the fuselage on the paint tin for just that purpose. Have fun modeling! Mike
