GlennCauley
I am starting a "blitz build" tomorrow (15-July-2016) on a 1:48 CF-100 Mk. IV (Hobbyboss kit) and decals from Canuck Models (023-48) I will build it as a 445 sq. RCAF in NMF (natural metal finish) but the instructions are lacking about most colours. So... I need to know what colours to use for the following: INSIDE: Cockpit, seats Landing gear Wheel wells OUTSIDE: What colours to use for NMF, on what parts? (I am likely to use Alclad.) Sorry for the short notice... but I need to know today/tomorrow (14/15).
AX 365
Glenn, Cockpit, seats - interior black Landing gear - dark gull grey gear wells - white or NM Exterior - aluminum - not much panel variation but you can mix it up a bit, if you choose. I based these colours on the Clunk at Rockcliffe. Nose gear door interiors are white. Main gear door interiors are NM. A friend of mine flew Mk. III's, IV's V's and the interior was black. GlennCauley
Thank you very much, Mike! :D This helps a lot...
ALF18
I concur with Mike's comment on the exterior colour variation (specifically, the lack of variation). The natural metal finish on the CF-100s was relatively uniform. He's right, as usual! ALF
