Dave1089
Hi guys, I'm coming stateside for a number of weeks in August. Doing a bit of a museum tour - Pima (hopefully the 'boneyard' too), Palm Springs, March Field, South Dakota Air and Space and the USAF museum in Dayton. However, i'd like to know if there are any decent model shops in any of the following cities: San Diego Las Vegas Albuquerque Denver Indianapolis New York. Thanks in advance! dnl42
I was just in Albuqueque. There's one shop, Hobby Proz. Mostly RC, some kits, paint, and AM. It's OK for scale models...
flyfort17
If you're going to March Field be sure to stop by the Planes of Fame in Chino CA Great museum.
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
You didn't mention Tucson but since you'll be doing the Pima Air & Space Museum and maybe the Boneyard tour here, there actually is one decent hobby shop here, and it's not horribly far from Pima. It's connected to an Ace Hardware Store, believe it or not, at 22nd St and Kolb. I can help you find it while in town as well if needed :)

Ken Cartwright
In San Diego, this is a small but generally well-stocked hobby store: http://discounthobbywarehouse.com/ Their website is not well maintained, so here is a Yelp link: http://www.yelp.com/biz/discount-hobby-warehouse-san-diego Edited July 18, 2016 by Ken Cartwright
