Scooby
No word on the pilot, although it doesn't sound good, Airshow was stopped, everyone was sent home.
tdogg
The news isn't good. The only thing to be thankful for is the crash was away from the crowd. RIP to the pilot.
cf18hornet
A friend of mine was at the show and confirmed the pilot did lose his life. :(
skyhawk174
Wow, such sad news. I was actually up there yesterday and saw his performance. It was pretty good. To add to the sad situation, his friend, who also brought in another T-28 was in the static display. The one on static display is a Canadian registered aircraft based out of Calgary. Bruce Evans is the pilot who passed away, I believe he is also from Calgary. http://www.vintagewings.ca/VintageNews/Stories/tabid/116/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/377/Flying-with-the-Professor.aspx Edited July 17, 2016 by Scooby

Gordon Shumway
RIP, Bruce Evans It may be little or even false comfort to some, but at least he died doing something he loved. Most of us will not be so fortunate or to have that honour when each of our time comes.
