parche
I have a plan to do a bunch of ANG birds and the desired schemes ( 3 132FW, 1 185FW and 1 180 FW) require 3 Blk 42s, 1 Blk 30 Small mouth and 1 Blk 30 Big mouth. So, I have gone through F-16.net and the Hasegawa kit research pages on modelingmadness.com, and it appears (except for making the Blk 42 HUDs and some minor tweaks elsewhere), I simply need 5 F-16CJ kits (I already have 2 PT32s) and I can mix and match inlets and exhausts and some small bits and get everything I need. Have I dug through it correctly? I do have an F-16A Plus and F-16B Plus, but I think issues with the vertical tails preclude their use (so I will probably just sell them). So asking the experts, am I right or did I miss something? I understand the Tamiya kit may be preferred by some, but I just want to stay with Hasegawa based on experience. adamitri
Depending on the time frame, the only other things you may need are scab plates and wheel sets.
parche
Ah, thought about the scab plates, but not the wheels. Thanks.
Netz
Mike laid out the Block table HERE on ARC. The wheels are different on Blk 40's,scab plates will depend on era,the A/B kits, well are, A's and B's and I'd use then on a different project. Curt
parche
Yeah, figured the A and B were unconvertible in the plan. Thanks for the link, somehow I managed to miss that in my research. Nice clean breakdown. The A might get converted to a Blk 10 for a 906 TFG bird. Cheers, Dave
