Hasegawa 1/72 F-111C AARDVARK

Recommended Posts

Hi guy's

Great to be back on the forum again.

Here is some shots that were have been taken during the downtime of the forums.

Really no big issues with the decal placement, except I had manage to do the following  (i) over stretched the tail marking on the starboard side vertical stab (ii)  Break on of the wing walkway decals, and (ii) destroyed on of the serial number decals. Even using Micro Sol & Set sloutions the kit decals are rather thick but when it comes to the final coat shouldn't be to noticeable

Port side vertical Stab

Starboard / port fuselage decals placed other than the canopy release decal as Still have a few things to do before closing the canopy down.

Upper fuselage markings / walkways and Skippy decal applied.

So you had more bad time with this build. Not too lucky project. But anyway it looks ok. A little bit annoying  silvering on the Vertical Stabilizer, I hope won't be noticeable after later varnishes as you said.
