RedHeadKevin
I bought a couple packs of Star Wars Command figures to play around with figure painting. They're cool, almost like a Star Wars version of Green Army Men. Some of the sculpts are honestly pretty good, but the line has since been discontinued. The first one I did was Yoda. I cleaned up any mold seam lines, hollowed out his sleeves and around his walking stick, and made some groundwork out of Apoxie Sculpt. He's all painted with Tamiya Acrylics. You can't really tell since it's been modified, but the base was made from a free flooring sample from Home Depot. They give out samples of laminate "wood" flooring for free. They make terrific figure bases. I cut it down and added a black sheet styrene edge to class it up. Anyhow, here's my pics. This is my first real attempt at figure painting, so any critique would be helpful.
Don
"Size matters not..." What a neat looking little Yoda ! Love the wet swampy look. Cool stuff!
