F-8J Crusader VF-194 (Hasegawa 1/48th)

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone

This is my latest built From the Hasegawa 48th scale the F-8J Crusader.

The only add on was the Resin seat from Aires and some minor scratch builts on the cockpit and the Main Wheel well.

Painted with gunze paints and for the Exhaust section Alclad Laquers were used.

Final varnish also from Gunze.

My big mistake was that just before the final cote i realized that the Right Wing cracked From one side to the other!!!I Managed to repair most of it but it is visible if someone see the Plane from an angle or from Above!

Thank for watching, And expecting and accepting your critics.

Cheers,

George.

Thank you both guys!!!

The frame of the canopy was Double masked.

I masked with a thin tape the yellow section of the frame then attached the canopy to the plane and when it was time i unmasked it and with a masked the rest of the canopy (the black part.)

Low pressure in the airbrush and done!

Head banging to be Honest!!!!
