I need it to make my monogram ready for strafing Korea ! Ty Ty, If you go to the Airstrip section of Prime Portal and look at walkarounds of F9F-5 141136 and 125295 you will find pictures of what you are after. The bridle attached to a hook that was between the inner aft corners of the speed brakes. There was a rectangular cut-out in this area for the hook. Tom

Superheat
hello all I dont find any reference about the catapult hook of the panther - seems to be retractable ? where is it ? behind the airbrakes ? what does it look like ? I need it to make my monogram ready for strafing Korea ! Ty Hi Ty, Referring to the photo of your model, Darren is right, you have it backwards. Here are three shots of the keel hook on a -6 Cougar, which is the same as the -5 Panther. The first is not great, the second two show the location from two aspects. Hope they help. Cheers, Tom

Rex
Okay, now that you've seen it, I can make the joke I first thought of. "Sailor, hook that bridle on there" "I did Chief, but it keeps falling off"
