Navy/Marine F-4 Phantoms!

Recommended Posts

Here's a sneak peek at the the next Speed Hunter Graphics release. I love USAF and ANG Phantoms, but there is something so sexy about those gray over white paint schemes of the 1970s.

These are sized for the Academy 1/48 F-4, but I may wind up tweaking them to fit the upcoming Zoukei Mura F-4.

Thoughts on subjects I should include?

As always, these will be available on the Reid Air Publications/Speed Hunter Graphics website.

Still no Trip Trey subjects. ..sigh

Jake, one of our former Phantom pilots was with VMFA-333, he's a regular on Facebook and has some nice video of his cruises from the 70's and I'm pretty sure he and his former squadron mates could supply you with references of their F-4J's from the 70's.

Wooowww Jake! What's a release date looking like?

I'm not exactly sure. Soon, but it depends on how the next two book releases shake out with the printing company's schedule.

Very nice !I might be interested if it does include subjects not already covered by Furball. There is room for Vietnam era USN F-4s, I think.

Which one(s) of the above jets has been done by Furball?

Don't know, I didn't check, as I'm more interested by Vietnam era.Agree, my post's formulation could have been better.

I would echo what Antoine said, to avoid subjects already covered by Furball or others. You’ve done test aircraft for other subjects, so how about a NATC Phantom like this one?

Please tell us exactly when this new sheet will be available. LOL

OK, again, I ask, which of the three subjects that I've shown have been covered by Furball?

Nobody said you have.

But your subject thread is Navy/Marine Phantoms and you asked in you original post for thoughts on what subjects to include.  Two folks have responded that their thoughts are not to include subjects already covered by Furball.

That help?
