Stefan buysse
Looking forward to more of this. I assume some nose art is involved Martin H Hi, Yes, there is a Miss Shoo Shoo art work (Kits-World decals), but she is not the primary motivation. In the B-17 Group Build a few years ago, I built an OD B-17F of the 100th BG. Now, I hope to build a silver B-17G of the 91st BG which will look nice with the red markings on the tail and wingtips. So I'd have a B-17 from the 100th BG and one from the 91st, a tribute to the BG's with the heaviest losses. Cheers, Stefan.

RKic
I had no idea Hasegawa made a B-17. Is it one of their more basic older kits?

Hi, Yes, absolutely one of their older kits. Mine is from the early 1990's and that was a reissue of an older kit. I think from the 1970's. They made a B-17F as well. Cheers, Stefan. Bigasshammm
I like the wings of the Hase kit I think over the academy or revell kits. Body shape seems ok too. It's very comparable to the academy but not found in as many numbers. Still waiting to get the new airfix
