ESzczesniak Posted October 9, 2016 I saw that Modelcollect announced this new kit the old fashioned way...in a magazine! http://modelcollect.com/usaf-b-2a-spirit-stealth-bomber Should be a major step up from any other available option, even if it's not Tamiya. Anyone know how the B-52H turned out? Either way, I'm pretty excited!
Inquisitor Posted December 2, 2016 Boxart and CAD posted on their facebook page. Looks like it's gonna be released in april 2017. Need to start saving.
F4DPhantomII Posted December 2, 2016 Great news. I hope it is a vast improvement over the Testors kit(what a dog)! Looking forward to it.
flybywire Posted December 2, 2016 Are there kits any good? Never heard of the manufacturer.
F4DPhantomII Posted December 2, 2016 I don't know the 1/72 B-52 is supposed to be out.I have not seen one or found a review.
ESzczesniak Posted December 2, 2016 They are new to aircraft. They have been around in small scale armor (lot of cold war USSR stuff) and have a pretty decent reputation for those kits. They have ventured in to what seems like a trend of cold war strategic bombers and this will be their second kit. They made a 1/72 B-52H that has just fairly recently actually hit the shelves. The previews have looked good, but I haven't seen anything in the way of reviews of the actual plastic.
F4DPhantomII Posted December 2, 2016 And they say a 1/72 B-52G is on the way.Where is the company based? Russia?

I'm under the impression that the announcement of the B-52H was a bit premature and that the B-2 will make it out to distribution before the BUFF. So if you've seen the BUFF on "the shelves," please tell me where! I want one!

But my understanding was that it was out in eastern Europe and hadn't really hit the Western distributors yet.
Berkut Posted December 2, 2016 1; The B-52 is not released yet. 2; The company isn't from Russia, it is Chinese. 3; There is a number of issues being worked on to be fixed in the B-2 CAD's.
Gator52 Posted December 3, 2016 Modelcollect's FB page says March release for the BUFF and April for the B-2. Jonah
Berkut Posted December 3, 2016 Am i under the correct assumption that the main weapons for B-2A these days are JDAM equiped bombs, ie GBU-31 and GBU-38 and not their non-JDAM versions? (Mk-82/Mk-84) + AGM-158 as the main standoff weapon.
Sarathi S. Posted December 4, 2016 Pretty much the entire fleet's gone mad for JDAM, so it's a safe assumption.

Jonah Well I don't have Facebook, but March & April have come and gone and still no release. I have one B-52G on backorder from a Japanese vendor, so my fingers are crossed that the B-2 & B-52 kits will be released within the next two years.

The B-2 project seems to be close to being complete. The test shots look promising, but we need to keep in mind that it is the company's first aircraft kit (despite their good track record with armor kits) . They claim that it will be released about a month after August 31. I have been designing a decal sheet for it and will release it soon after I have a chance to obtain the kit. B2Blain Posted August 24, 2017 Looks like no option to position flaps in a down position. Isn't it suppose to be a down position when parked? Thanks!
