kurnass77
Hi guys, I'm currentely build an Hasegawa Harrier II and added the Aires resin wheel bays. Searching for pics before start to paint the parts,I haven't found pics for the main wheel bay. I've the FoxTwo book describing the RAF Harrier GR.7/9 but I'm no sure I can use as reference for a Marines machine and neither the Web was useful, so many help will be more than appreciated. Adelaide Blue
Gianni I've been gathering info for the same build and com across some great Aircraft walkarounds on the net, see links below. Base colour would most likely be white, with varying degrees of weathering turning the bays various shades of a grimy black / brown etc.. Good luck with the build http://www.deepbluemodel.com/walk-around/av-8b-harrier-ii-plus/ http://www.primeportal.net/hangar/michael_block/av-8b/index.php?Page=1 There are a couple of different walkarounds on primeportal. kurnass77
Andy, thanks for your effort;I already knew these two walkaround ( I think to have senn almost all the net walkaround ...) but your're so kind to ask to my request! Anyway,I've painted the bay area predominantely white with some artistic license in the preservative way, limiting the added colors to dark grey for some pipelines and a bit of aluminium... From tha various Walkaround look like if is very simple take shot of the nose wheel bay but almost impossible for the main one! Gianni
Adelaide Blue
Gianni You're welcome. Looking at most of my reference photos it's not uncommon for the main U/G doors to be closed with the aircraft parked so there would not be mush to see anyway.
