Sebastijan
Thank you, guys! Raymond, nah - I wouldn't touch Nakotne with a stick :D Anyhow, the build is progressing steadily and here's part 2 of the wip LINK: https://vvsmodelling.com/2016/10/18/mig-29-9-13-swifts-pt-2/
kotey
Quote Fortunately Zvezda’s design team was clever Its sounds like big keg of honey for bear. i'm Iworked on cutting of Swift elements not one day. After finish print the first batch of decal i'm made "state tests" - three times i'm put decals on model. The central part of bird on upper part of fuselage all three times were placed without any liquids and withput problems.

Sebastijan
Kotey, the problem is not the main body - the wings are the problem. if you would attach the tails after decaling was complete, there would be no problem. However, as I tend not to do that (there's usually some small seams to sort out), I had to apply the wings decals over the extensions. The problem arises as the extensions do not allow for an easy application and the best solution was to cut the wing decal at around the wing root and back towards the extension itself. Decals on the other hand are of great quality - I didn't use any setting solutions either.
kotey
I havn/t instruction, but i'm made design for separate decaling if fins and chaff/flare dispensers (it is same detail on sprues).
