I know Darren's sets...but what I want are nice wheels for example. The ones available so far are all of the newer typ. Also an inner canopy part that has the defroster air pipe would be nice...Hasegawa has it in the kit. That's about it for me right now. I am sure the experts will want a resin cockpit and wheel bays with lots of cables in them... thanks Uwe Royale Resin has some gorgeous early wheels, as well as the newer wheels. CJ Martin
Eduard just announced some Brassin wheels for a Dec release, but I'm not sure what era they represent.
bushande
Quote Now searching for the 203 numbers and the bird's serial...I already have the kill marks! 'FAIK there were 5 to 6 birds used for the filming in '79. Confirmed serials for VF-84 birds: among them were 160393 (200), 160380 (201), 160381(202) and 160390 (203) (later on changed to modex 207) - (btw also one of the later SU-22 Killers of VF-41 in '81 ;-) ) Edited December 6, 2016 by bushande
twong
A few were painted as 202. There are three 202's shown in the line up in this photo that were used in the movie.
